With production limited to 2,000 units, the Opel Adam Black Link variant (and the White Link, which didn't attend the show) are inspired by smartphone colors with brushed aluminium accents on the body. Targeting the tastes of the young buyer, the Adam Black Link comes with Siri Eyes Free voice control and IntelliLink infotainment system as standard features. Drivers who use smartphones with iOS 6 or later can activate Siri Eyes Free through buttons on the steering wheel.
Over a voice command, Siri Eyes Free can do the following
- Make calls to contacts in the address book.
- Play songs in the iTunes Library and choose a different source of music.
- Listen, write and send an SMS
The Opel IntelliLink infotainment system is a 7-inch color touchscreen and is fully compatible with Android-based devices. The color on the exhibit is the "I'll be Black" shade accentuated with contrasting brushed aluminium mirror caps and grille. The car stands on 18-inch wheels and the roof spoiler is lacquered black. The headlamps and taillamps have LED units.
On the inside, the seats and instruments sport a black color scheme with the glove box, door trims, gear knob and hand brake level in contrasting white. 'OCIO Black Morrocana' seat cushions come standard.
The Adam Black Link (and the Adam White Link) can be ordered in Europe from late fall.
