Autocar India reports that Nissan India will introduce the Nissan X-Trail Hybrid at the Auto Expo 2016 in February, which will be the only variant of the mid-size SUV to be sold.
In Japan, the X-Trail Hybrid is powered an "RM31" electric motor with maximum power output of 41 PS and maximum torque of 160 Nm and a "MR20DD" 2.0L engine with maximum power of 147 PS @ 6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 207 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. An X-Tronic CVT is paired to the hybrid powertrain, while an electric AWD system is fitted as standard.
