Nissan has added a premium package to the March 1.6 SR (we know it as Micra in India) in Brazil, where it has been on sale for a while now.
With this optional package the user gets to enjoy features like audio and telephone controls on the steering wheel. Bluetooth functionality is becoming a must-have feature on any top-end model in almost every segment, even here in India.
For keeping the passengers entertained, Nissan provides an integrated entertainment system, which has the ability to play CD and MP3, and also allows the connection of iPod or music players through the AUX input.
In addition to the above features, the Premium package comes with an aerodynamic body kit that makes this otherwise cute looking car a bit sporty. To beef up the looks and driving dynamics, Nissan provides 15” alloy rims wrapped with 195/60 R15 tyres that promise better grip.
To further enhance the appearance, chrome exhaust tip and custom exterior mirrors are provided. The interior gets a two tone treatment with black and gray shades. The other features on the 1.6 SR model are carried over from the standard variants.
The car draws power from a 1.6L 16-valve flex-fuel engine, which can burn petrol and ethanol and develops 111 PS of power and a 151 Nm of torque.
The Nissan March 1.6 SR Premium is priced at R$38690 (roughly Rs. 10.5 lakhs).
