The Polo will be launched in India soon, competing with the Hyundai i20, Skoda Fabia and the Fiat Punto needs a lot of character.
The 2010 VW Polo a.k.a the New Polo is powered by a 1.2 ltr turbo charged petrol and the diesel comes with a 1.6 ltr engine delivering 105 hp and 95 hp respectively. It will be shown at the Delhi Auto Expo next year in January.
The cost of the car is $ 17,000 US that equals to roughly 8.5 lakh rupees. The officials say that the car will be indianized to reduces its price.
