Mitsubishi has launched a limited edition Pajero Sport in Indonesia called the 'Pajero Sport Limited'.
We presented some spyshots yesterday and we have more details to share today. The Pajero Sport has been well received in Indonesia and Mitsubishi wants to keep the model fresh to counter strong competition from the Toyota Fortuner.
The Pajero Sport Limited gets noticeable exterior changes like an aero body kit which includes sportier front and rear bumpers. The front bumper gets embossed details lending the SUV an aggressive look. A pair of daytime running light strips are housed within the secondary air dam.
The rear bumper gets the body color treatment and there is a "Limited Dakar" badge on the tailgate. The rest of the car remains the same.
Stepping inside, the special edition model gets a new touchscreen multimedia infotainment system with a 2DIN music player. The infotainment system supports GPS navigation and reverse parking camera.
The car is powered by a 2.5 litre diesel engine which develops 178 bhp, the same unit that powers the Indian Pajero Sport. The Limited is available only with the 5-speed automatic transmission in two variants - Exceed and Hi-Power. The Hi-Power variant is available in 4x4 and 4x2 configurations.
The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Exceed Limited is priced at 406 million Indonesian Rupiah (around Rs. 23.07 lakhs), the Hi-power 4x2 Limited has a price tag of 444 million Indonesian Rupiah (around Rs. 25.23 lakhs) while the top end Hi-Power 4x4 Limited would set you back by 509.5 million Indonesian Rupiah (around Rs. 28.95 lakhs).
