MBIL has confirmed the launch of the Mercedes-Maybach S 650 in India. The range-topping model in the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class saloon range will be launched at the Auto Expo slated to kick off on February 7, 2018.
The Mercedes-Maybach S 650 saloon is 5,462 mm long, 1,899 mm wide and 1,498 mm tall. It has a 3,365 mm wheelbase. Under the hood resides a 6.0-litre biturbo V12 petrol engine that puts out 630 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports automatic transmission sends power to the wheels.
On the outside, the Maybach S 650 saloon features a radiator grille with vertical chrome bars as well as three twin louvres with ‘Maybach’ lettering, Multibeam LED headlamps with Ultra Range highbeam, ‘V12’ lettering on front wings, closing aid for doors and boot lid, LED rear lights, chrome-plated twin tailpipes and LED rear fog lights.
Inside, Mercedes-Benz offers the top-of-the-line Mercedes-Maybach S-Class saloon with features like seats with heating, ventilation, memory and massage functions, ‘Maybach’ branded door sill panels, IWC-design analogue clock, rear armrest including stowage compartment with cover, velour floor mats with ‘V12’ emblem and ambient lighting with 64 colour choices.

The launch of the Mercedes-Maybach S 650 saloon in India at Auto Expo 2018 is likely to signal the advent of the full 2018 Mercedes S-Class (facelift) range.
