Will only launch with a 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engine.
Maruti-Suzuki has confirmed that the Maruti Vitara Brezza will be launched for sale in India on March 8, 2016. The Vitara Brezza will be the first Maruti sub-4m SUV in the Indian market, which rivals the likes of the Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300.
It measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,640 mm in height, 2,500 mm in wheelbase and has a ground clearance of 198 mm. The exterior draws cues from the global-spec Suzuki Vitara as well as the Maruti XA-Alpha concept from the Auto Expo 2012.
Inside, top-end grades come equipped with SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, inbuilt navigation, reverse parking camera, engine starter button, cruise control, 60:40 split rear seat, projector headlights with LED DRLs and automatic headlights.

At launch, the Maruti Vitara Brezza will be offered with the familiar 1.3-liter DDiS diesel four-cylinder engine as the only choice, which is capable of producing 90 PS at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. The only transmission option is a 5-speed manual gearbox.
