From the looks of it, the Mahindra XUV300 will be available with an optional chrome pack, which can be added to any of the trims. It comprises chrome garnishes for the upper and lower front grilles, outside rearview mirrors, window sills, door handles, the lower portion of doors, and tail lights.

The manufacturer has earlier revealed that the Mahindra XUV300 will be available in four grades - W4, W6, W8 and W8(O). All the trims will offer electric windows, disc brakes on all wheels, ABS, LED tail lights, and dual front airbags. Additionally, the W8(O) model will be loaded with rear parking sensors, seven airbags, a touchscreen infotainment unit, and a dual-zone automatic climate control unit.

The Mahindra XUV300 will be available in two engine variants. The petrol version will be propelled by an all-new 1.2-litre turbocharged motor that will offer a peak torque of 200 Nm. The diesel variant will feature a Marazzo-sourced 1.5-litre turbo unit that will produce 123 PS and 300 Nm. Both the motors will come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. An AMT is likely to arrive at a later stage.
