Mahindra showcased the Tourister Cosmo in its normal and school bus spec, and the Maxximo school van at the Bus and Special Vehicles Show 2015 in Greater Noida.
Mahindra Tourister:
The Tourister Cosmo is powered by a BS-3 compliant 3.3-liter diesel engine capable of 115 bhp at 2,800 rpm and 325 Nm of torque between 1,600-2,200 rpm, matched to a 5-speed manual transmission. Showcased in its normal and school bus variants, both seat 40 passengers and the driver.
Suspension duties are handled by semi elliptical leaf springs with telescopic shock absorbers at the front and rear. The school bus measures 8,860 mm in length, 2,190 mm in width and 4,800 mm in wheelbase while the regular variant comes in at 9,606 mm in length, 2,190 mm in width and 5,260 mm in wheelbase.

Mahindra Maxximo School Van:
Launched last year, the Maxximo School Van VX gets added safety features like real-time tracking, GPS based messaging service, SMS Alert, CCTV camera with storage up to 48 hours and live streaming, and tracking the speed of the van.
Power for the van comes from a 0.9-liter twin-cylinder diesel engine capable of 25 bhp and 55 Nm of torque. A 4-speed manual transmission is offered with it.
