Studio images of the KTM RC125 and the KTM RC200 have surfaced on the internet. Readers may be aware that images of the RC390 were leaked earlier this weekend and these three fully faired motorcycles should premiere at the 2013 International Motorcycle Exhibition (EICMA) taking place in Milan, Italy, on November 5th.

Just like their bigger sibling, the RC125 and RC200 get the twin-headlight cluster and integrated turn signals on the wing mirrors. KTM has redone the design of the tank, while including clip-on handlebars and rearsets. Reports highlight that it was a simple job for KTM to develop the RC125 and RC200 from the RC390, as the three motorcycles are very similar apart from their engine capacities.
Though the specifications are not yet out, reports indicate that the RC125 would weigh 127 kg while the RC200 would have a 139 kg curb weight.
Powering the RC125 would be the same single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled 125cc engine producing 15 hp and mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The RC200 will use the four-stroke, 200cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 26 hp which is also matched to a 6-speed gearbox.
The RC200 and RC390 could be launched in India, given that KTM already sells the Duke 200 and 390, and would manufacture the RC series in Pune. We are doubtful whether the RC125 would be introduced as the Duke 125 is not available to India.
