The Kia GT4 Stinger concept has been revealed at the NAIAS 2014.
Designed at Irvine, California, the GT4 Stinger is a 2+2 sportscar with a "Tiger Nose" grille and vertically arranged LED headlights. The low-slung sportscar concept also features a carbon fiber front splitter and a ventilated hood.
Powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter T-GDI four-cylinder engine that churns out 315 bhp, the concept is driven via a close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox that drives the rear wheels. Kia says driving enjoyment is guaranteed both on the track and the road.
Kia submits the show car in an 'Ignition Yellow' external livery, a custom chassis featuring Brembo Gran Tourismo two-piece cross-drilled rotors with four-piston caliper brakes. The concept is hoisted on 20-inch aluminium wheels with carbon fiber inserts for better strength and lower weight. These are wrapped with Pirelli P-Zero tires to keep the car firmly planted on the ground.
