Indian launch expected in Q3 2017.
As Ford continues with the 2017 Ford EcoSport's global rollout, the 2017 Buenos Aires Motor Show is set to stage the Argentinian debut of the facelifted model.
The 2017 Ford EcoSport features an extensively revised front-end, interior refresh and a number of tech upgrades. The new face of the sub-compact SUV reminds of the Ford Kuga (Ford Escape), which itself received a facelift last year with a new angular look inspired by the Ford Edge. Bigger projector headlamps, newly-designed trapezoidal radiator grille, triangular fog lamps and modified bumper are among the key changes at the front.
On the inside, the 2017 Ford EcoSport gets a refresh with redesigned dashboard and centre console, horizontal HVAC vents, new 3-spoke steering wheel and new instrument panel with larger MID. Another feature new EcoSport buyers would appreciate is the SYNC 3 infotainment system with a free-standing display, but it remains to be seen if Ford India will offer this system to its buyers.

The current Ford EcoSport is available with 110 CV (110 hp) 1.6-litre Sigma and 143 CV (143 hp) 2.0-litre Duratec engines and 5-speed manual and 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions in Argentina. It's unknown whether the facelift will bring any changes related to these aspects.
Ford India is testing the new EcoSport and its local launch is reported around Diwali 2017.
