Ford is showcasing the Ford Edge at the 2016 Bologna Motor Show in Italy. The Ford Edge is available in Plus, Titanium, Sport and Vignale trim levels, and the model seen in the images is the Sport trim.
The Ford Edge Sport features a lower grille with unique design, 20-inch black alloy wheels, rear bumper with unique design with dual trapezoidal exhaust tips, sports suspension, side skirts, aluminium pedals, Adaptive Steering Wheel, SYNC2 infotainment with Sony Touch Navigation and 12-speaker sound system with subwoofer with DAB.
The Ford Edge Sport is available with a 2.0-litre Duratorq TDCi turbocharged four-cylinder in two different outputs. The less potent version produces 180 CV (180 hp) and 400 Nm, while the other delivers 210 CV (210 hp) and 450 Nm of torque. The 180 hp 2.0-litre TDCi engine is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, while the 210 hp 2.0-litre TDCi engine is linked to a 6-speed Powershift automatic transmission. Both engine models feature an all-wheel drive system.
The Ford Edge Sport is priced at €51,250 (INR 36,52,458.42) for the 180 hp 2.0-litre TDCi 6-MT model and at €53,750 (INR 38,30,627.13) for the 210 hp 2.0-litre TDCi 6-AT model in Italy.
