The authorized distributor for Honda Cars in Nepal, the Syakar Trading Company (a subsidiary of the Jyoti Group of Nepal), has launched the all-new Honda Jazz and unveiled the Honda Civic at the 2015 NADA Auto Show.
Powered by the 4-cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, the India-made Honda Jazz is offered in 5-speed manual and CVT (automatic) variants. The motor produces 90 PS maximum power at 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm peak torque at 4,800 rpm. The manual variant returns a mileage of 18.7 km/l and the CVT model delivers 19 km/l.
The premium hatchback boasts of safety features such as ACE body structure, dual SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, impact mitigating headrest, immobilizer, and pedestrian injury mitigation technology. The car also has a first-in-segment multi-view reverse camera, while the automatic variant benefits from paddle shifters.
The Jazz is launched in 6 variants in Nepal, including four manual and two automatic trims.

Alongside the Jazz at the NADA 2015, the company unveiled the Honda Civic sedan. It is powered by the 1.6-litre i-VTEC engine mated to 5-speed manual transmission. The starting price of Civic is reported to be NPR 68,00,000 by AutoLife Nepal website.
