The Honda CBR 250RR made its world debut in July 2016, and its design is radically different from the quarter-litre CBR that Honda sells in India. Honda introduced the bike in Japan in April 2017. The bike gets an all-LED lighting system, ride-by-wire throttle, and an in-line twin engine. The 249 cc DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection makes 38 PS at 12,500 rpm; and 23 Nm of peak torque at 11,000 rpm. The engine works in conjunction with a 6-speed gearbox.
The diamond type frame suspends on upside down front fork and ProLink monoshock at the rear with 5-stage preload adjustability. The 17-inch alloy wheels are shod with 110-section front and 140-section rear tyres. The bike comes to a halt using petal disc on both ends, with dual-channel ABS.
