The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 114 km/h.

A 276 mm front disc and 220 mm rear disc brakes provide the stopping power while single-channel ABS comes as standard. Conventional telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock perform suspension duties.

Feature list includes LED Pilot Lamps, LED Tail Lamp with guide lights and a digital-analogue information cluster. The motorcycle is available in five colour options – Heavy Grey with Orange, Black with Sports Red, Sports Red, Panther Black with Force Silver and Techno Blue.

The launch of the Xtreme 200R in Nepal is aimed to further boost the sales. In August 2018, Hero MotoCorp registered 685,047 unit sales as against 678,797 units in the corresponding month last year.
