Harley-Davidson announces price cuts for its CBU models

Harley-Davidson has announced price cuts for its Touring and CVO range post-tax revision. The price change affects the Road King, Street Glide Special, Road Glide and the top-of-the-line model, the CVO Limited.

The least expensive motorcycle in the Touring line-up, the Road King is now INR 3.38 lakhs cheaper.

The Harley-Davidson Road King, that was previously priced at INR 28,37,000, will now be available for INR 24,99,000. The earlier price of the Street Glide Special was INR 33,50,000. The cruiser’s revised pricing stands at INR 29,99,000. Likewise, the new price for Road Glide Special is INR 32,99,000 against the old price of INR 35,61,000. The American brand’s flagship tourer, the CVO Limited is now available at INR 49,99,000 against the old price of INR 53,72,000. All prices ex-showroom, Delhi.

The CVO Limited still remains one of the most expensive motorcycles in India.

Harley-Davidson also launched three new Softail models in the country. The Low Rider and the Deluxe are new entrants in the Softail line-up. The brand has launched the Anniversary Edition of the Fat Boy. It features a bigger Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine. The mill is good for 156 Nm at 3,000 rpm. The Low Rider costs INR 12.99 lakhs, while the Deluxe will set you back by INR 17.99 lakhs, both ex-showroom, Delhi.

In the international market, the cult bike maker unveiled Iron 1200 and Forty-Eight Special. The company recently applied for trademark of the name ‘H-D Revelation’. The name is for the components of its upcoming electric motorcycle. It will reportedly be ready within 18 months.
