After the unveiling of the Mk5 VW Polo at the Geneva Motor Show, VW has used the occasion to showcase another Volkswagen Polo, the Volkswagen Polo BlueMotion Concept Car.

The CW Polo BlueMotion makes use of a new three-cylinder direct-injection 1.2-liter TDI engine that produces 55 kW (75 PS) and emits just 87 g/km of CO2 an extremely frugal fuel consumption figure of 3.3L/100km (71.3 mpg) making it one of the world's most fuel efficient cars

Volkswagen Polo BlueMotion Concept Car highlights-

  • weight cut down to 1,080 kilogram
  • uses an advanced engine start/stop system, also benefits from a regenerative braking system
  • 15-inch alloy wheels fitted low rolling resistance tires
