Ford latest infotainment system makes Indian debut.
Ford's SYNC 3 infotainment system that was announced internationally in 2014 has finally landed in India. The company's latest infotainment system has made its local debut in the Ford Endeavour.
The Ford SYNC 3 infotainment system is powered by Blackberry's QNX Neutrino OS and features an 8-inch capacitive touch display. It is the industry's first system to feature voice activation for controlling smartphones. The new infotainment system offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration compatibility for easier access to messages, phone and music.
Besides increased convenience, the Ford SYNC 3 infotainment system also offers more safety to the driver and passengers with the Emergency Assistance feature. In the event of an accident when the airbags are deployed, an automatic call is made to emergency services. The third generation Sync infotainment system offers AppLink and Siri Eyes-Free as well.

The Ford Endeavour is available in Trend and Titanium trim levels and five different configurations. The SYNC 3 infotainment system will be available only on the top-end Titanium trim level, priced at INR 27,93,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) in 4X2 automatic model and INR 30,89,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) in the 4X4 automatic model.
