Regular Indian Autos Blog readers know that Force motors was working on a bare bones variant and a new top end variant of the Force One SUV.
The new variants of the Force One have been introduced without much fanfare. Here are the brochures of the updated Force One.
To start with, the default trim level of the One which was available so far is named as the SX. The SX variant is sandwiched by the base EX and the top end LX.
The entry level EX variant is powered by a 2.6 litre BS3 diesel engine which puts out a modest 82 PS and 230 Nm of torque. We feel the entry level variant will be a tad underpowered. The SX and LX employ the Mercedes derived 2.2 litre FMTECH diesel motor which generates 141PS and 321 Nm of torque.
Further the base EX variant sacrifices lots of features like LED DRLs, alloy wheels, roof rails, rear wash/wipe, defogger, audio system, driver seat height adjustment, remote central locking, reverse parking sensor, ABS and cruise control. All these features are available in the SX and the LX variants.
The top end LX adds 4WD system with limited slip differential to the package and comes with fatter 245/70 R16 tires (EX and SX have 235/70 R16).
Apart from the new variants, the Force One also gets a new Moondust Silver exterior color option.
