Kia unveiled the Seltos in India on the 20th of this month, and now, it has released this SUV's first official promo video featuring Tiger Shroff.
Globally, the Kia Seltos will be positioned above the Kia Stonic. In India, the new B-SUV's launch is scheduled to take place in August.
Exterior-wise, the Kia Seltos has been given a very unique design which looks neat and sophisticated. It features full LED headlights and tail lights, LED DRLs and rear lamps, 3D multi-layer turn indicators (front) and vertically stacked LED ice-cube front fog lamps. Other design highlights include 17-inch alloy wheels, silver finished roof rails, skid plates and a high shoulder line that results in a sleek glasshouse, which tapers towards the rear-end and gives the vehicle a sporty styling. Colour choices will inc Intense Red, Punchy Orange, Clear White, Glacier White Pearl, Steel Silver, Gravity Gray, Aurora Black Pearl and Intelligency Blue.
On the inside, it receives a much upmarket and high-tech cabin space as it features a dual clock instrument panel with 7-inch MID, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with dedicated SIM card and UVO connected vehicle technology, Sound Mood Lighting, 8.0-inch head-up display, 8-speaker Bose audio system and more. Some of its safety features include 360-degree camera, six airbags, TCS, HAC and front parking sensors.
In terms of mechanicals, the Indian-spec Kia Seltos will host three engine options including a naturally aspirated petrol engine, a turbocharged petrol engine and a turbocharged diesel engine. The transmission duties will be performed by either an IVT (CVT), 7-speed DCT, 6-speed AT or a 6-speed manual transmission. Three riding modes will be available, namely Normal, Eco and Sport.

Expect the Kia Seltos' prices to range from INR 11-16 lakh. The premium B-SUV will be pitted against not only the Hyundai Creta but also the MG Hector and the Tata Harrier.
