Could use a 1.75-liter TBi engine producing 230 hp.
A video of a Fiat 500X has surfaced from Italy, featuring the model with a few noticeable changes. It is equipped with a twin pipe exhaust, 19-inch alloy wheels and a covered badge. According to Carpassion, the model undergoing testing could be rumored Abarth version of the 500X SUV.

If Fiat does introduce a Abarth 500X, changes offered will more or less be similar to the India-bound Abarth 595 Competizione, such as a sporty body kit, large alloy rims, and a custom exhaust system, as seen in the render below. The interior will be trimmed with materials like Alcantara and carbon fiber, and fitted with bucket seats, sporty instrument panel with a separate gear shift indicator and turbo gauge, and custom pedals.
The engine powering the Abarth 500X is wildly speculated. While the Abarth 595 and Abarth Punto Evo are powered by the 1.4-liter MultAir turbo engine with 165 hp, the 500X could either pack the said engine or a more-powerful 1.75-liter TBi engine producing 230 hp. A six speed manual or AMT will be offered with the Abarth 500X, routing power to all four wheels via an AWD system.
