DC Design has given the Mahindra Bolero a makeover, which, though isn't as radical as some of its other projects, certainly has a price tag to make you give it a second look. The Bolero Inceptor as it is called costs a whopping INR 17.5 lakhs, ex-Showroom, reportedly.

The front sees a redesigned grille with a metal applique and circular headlights with projector lens. The Bolero Inceptor also gets a beefier bumper which wouldn't look out of place in an off-road focused SUV, and handles on the bonnet. The sides see larger alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres, Hummer-inspired ORVMs with a chrome finish and new side steps. The wheel arches are also pronounced to give the Inceptor a lot of street presence.

Towards the rear, the taillight clusters get a thorough makeover, and like the front, DC Design has provided a pair of handles. While the interior changes aren't detailed, we notice that the second-row seats and third-row benches have been replaced with captains chairs.

Mechanical changes on the DC Inceptor are unlikely. The Bolero Power Plus is powered by a 1.5-liter mHawk three-cylinder diesel engine capable of 70 bhp and 195 Nm of torque. Paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the engine sends the drive to the rear wheels.
