French car maker Citroen launched the Citroen C5 CrossTourer at the Geneva Motor Show with prices starting from 31,950 Euros (Rs 27,21,030).
The car is available in two trims - Millenium and Exclusive - and is powered by a range of diesel engines that have a power output ranging between 115 hp and 200 hp.
The C5 CrossTourer features specifically designed wing extensions, lengthwise matte grey roof bars and matcihng 18-inch diamond-effect alloy wheels, chrome finished wing-mirror housing and brushed aluminium protective fairing on the front and rear bumpers.
The star feature of the new car is the Hydractive III+ suspension. This active suspension unit manages the car's body height in real time, maintaining a constant ground clearance irrespective of the load. The C5 CrossTourer rides at two body heights, 6 cm up to 10 kph and 4 cm up to 40 kph for improved drag performance. The active suspension also raises and lowers the load sill at the back.
The Hydractive III+ suspension is available with all engine versions apart from the HDi 115 manual and the e-HDi 115 Airdream EGS6.
