Chevrolet Sail U-VA arriving this Friday

The Chevrolet Sail U-VA is one of the most important products for GM India and it's just a couple of days away from the launch.

Chevrolet India, in its Facebook page has uploaded an image of the Sail U-VA being unwrapped and has also released the tagline for the car which reads "When life gives you more".

The Sail U-VA has been extensively tested in India as suggested by our flooded spy shots gallery and the car's powertrains are optimized for Indian consumership as well as the climatic and driving conditions. The car is engineered with comfort and fuel efficiency as priorities.

The spacious hatchback is powered by the proven 1.3 litre diesel engine which was jointly developed by Fiat and GM. The motor puts out 78 PS of power and has an ARAI certified fuel economy figure of 22.1 kmpl. There is also a 1.2 litre 86 PS petrol engine on offer.

The Sail U-VA will be the first of many SAIC developed cars to hit our market and hence the Chinese company will be very keenly monitoring the response the hatchback gets in India.
