The Audi A8 may be the most understated business saloon but the conservative design approach doesn't make it any less of a luxury barge.
The current version of the flagship saloon from the four ringed marque has been here since 2010. The BMW 7 Series has received its Life Cycle Impulse and the all new Mercedes S Class is in the horizon. The time is apt for the Audi A8 to step up its game with a facelift.
What you see here are our in-house rendering expert Shoeb's take on the new Audi A8. As you notice, there are no immediately noticeable changes to the front fascia. The traditional Audi grill may become a tad smaller as the rendering points out and the chin of the bumper could do with a bit more of detailing.
The LED lights would continue to give the car a touch of elegance mixed with a few ounces of sportiness. As with most of the facelifts, the fog lamps and the enclosures are likely to have a makeover. The silhouette of the saloon will remain intact.
Coming to the rear, a chrome strip running between the taillights could liven up things. The bumper is expected to be slightly reprofiled and the rest would continue the same.
Being a facelift, we expect the current crop of powertrains to be retained. The Audi A8 facelift is expected to debut next year as a 2015 model.
