22 KYMCO, a joint venture between Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer, 22 Motors and Taiwanese two-wheeler brand, Kwang Yang Motor Co (KYMCO), has announced the launch of three new products in the Indian market, the iFlow, the Like200 and the X-Town 300i ABS.

The three new products include an electric and two internal combustion powered scooters, which will be manufactured at the company’s new facility in Bhiwadi, Haryana that has a total capacity of 2,00,000 units per annum. Speaking about the India launch of the three new products, Allen Ko, Chairman - KYMCO, said:

The iFlow electric scooter is available at an on-road (Delhi) price of INR 90,000. The feature-packed electric scooter comes equipped with:
- Front and rear disc brakes
- Combined Braking System’s safety net
- IP65 rated water and dust protection
- Regenerative Braking System
- 25-litre storage space (claimed to be big enough to accommodate two helmets
- All LED lighting
- Bluetooth Connectivity
- Smartphone app
- Three modes - Reverse, Cruise and Drag
- A maximum speed of 60 km/h
- Mobile charging port
The iFlow electric scooter comes with a removable Ionex battery pack that can be charged or swapped for a rented battery at the charging stations. The scooter can use two battery packs together which offer a range of 160 km. Recharging the single battery via a 5 Amp socket is claimed to take four to five hours. The quick charger can juice-up the battery to 70% in one hour.
Apart from the electric scooter, 22 KYMCO will offer the Like200 and the X-Town 300i ABS at on-road (Delhi) prices of INR 1.30 lakh and INR 2.30 lakh respectively. The Like200 is a retro-style product, while the X-Town 300i ABS is a maxi scooter.
The Euro-IV certified X-Town 300i ABS uses a 276 cc OHC, liquid cooled, 2-valve engine with a fuel injection system that makes 24.47 PS (18 kW) of maximum power at 7,250 rpm and while peak torque of 25 Nm comes at 6,250 rpm. The motor is paired with a CVT. The feature list on the maxi-scooter includes 12.5 litres fuel tank, 260 mm front and 240 mm rear disc brakes with ABS, telescopic front forks and double rear springs.

The Like200 uses a 163 cc, SOHC, air-cooled motor that makes 11.40 hp of power at 7,250 rpm. Anchoring department includes 220 mm front and 180 mm rear disc brakes. Suspension department comprises telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks.
