The 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC is the world's first motorcycle with an integrated GoPro control system.

Powering the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC is a 1,200cc liquid-cooled, 270-degree parallel twin mill. The engine produces 90 PS of power, which is 12.5% more than in the Bonneville T120 and 38% more than in the 2019 Street Scrambler. Additionally, the 2019 Scrambler 1200's engine is tuned to deliver ‘high torque’ off-road and on, both on low as well as mid-engine revs. The powerplant is capable of churning out a peak torque of 110 Nm at a low 3,950 rpm. That’s 37.5% more torque than in the Street Scrambler.

The powerplant is very similar to the one seen in the Thruxton but the rest of the motorcycle is brand-new. The 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC boasts five riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport, Off-road and Rider (customisable). Each of these changes not only the engine mapping but also the ABS setting. Other features include a category-first 21-inch front tubeless wheel (Metzeler Tourance), ride-by-wire, Brembo M50 monoblock callipers (front) and colour TFT instrumentation. The traction control is switchable and the handlebar position is adjustable.

Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC is suspended over Showa-made 45 mm upside-down front forks with 200 mm of travel and Ohlins-made fully adjustable twin springs with 200 mm travel. It is the first Triumph machine to get turn-by-turn navigation with phone and music operation (optional).
