The video, uploaded by YouTuber Abhinav Bhatt, shares the prices of the aftermarket units as well, which are seen on the Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650. The Gursewak exhaust, for example, can be purchased for INR 19,000. The Red Rooster Performance exhaust also carries INR 19,000 price tag while the AEW exhaust could be bought for INR 15,500.

It should be noted that aftermarket exhausts could affect the warranty of your motorcycle. Thus, we recommend our readers to consult a Royal Enfield service centre before making any mechanical changes. The company offers S&S exhaust system as an accessory with the 650 Twins internationally, but not in the domestic market.

The Royal Enfield 650 Twins feature a 648 cc air-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine that churns out 47 bhp of max power at 7,250 revs and a peak torque of 52 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The motorcycles come with a single-piece forged counterbalanced crankshaft with 270-degree firing order that gives a V-twin-like exhaust note.

Both motorcycles are clocking positive numbers for the brand. The current waiting period ranges from three to five months nationwide. The reason behind the long waiting period could be cited to the exports and the strike at the Oragadam plant. The 650 Twins are offered in the UK, the USA, Australia and Thailand among others. In fact, the company has received over 700 bookings for the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in Thailand. The company will soon ramp-up the production from the existing capacity of 2,500 units to 4,500-5,000 units a month. The Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650 can be purchased for as low as INR 2.50 lakh*. Prices of the Continental GT 650 start at INR 2.65 lakh*.
