Launched at INR 92,563 (ex-showroom), the 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 180 ABS has started to arrive at the dealerships in the country. The vehicle seen in the video belongs to Arun Bajaj, the two-wheeler manufacturer’s Nagpur outlet. The motorcycle had started to arrive at dealership warehouse in December although it was put up on display recently after the prices were announced.

The Bajaj Pulsar 180 ABS, similar to the rest of the product portfolio, received single-channel ABS along with a Rear Lift-off Protection (RLP). The addition of single-channel ABS has resulted in approximately INR 7,000 increment in prices over the outgoing (non-ABS) model that was sold at INR 85,523 (ex-showroom).
Visual upgrades include revised graphics and a new engine cowl that adds a sportier look to the overall package. Bajaj Auto also introduced a semi-faired version of the Pulsar 180, christened as the Pulsar 180F, that draws styling cues from the Pulsar 220F and comes equipped with a vertically stacked, twin-pod headlight.
The Bajaj Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 180F mount a 178.6 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that develops 17.02 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 14.22 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox. A 260 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm unit at the rear perform braking duties. However, surprisingly, the Pulsar 180F is yet to receive the safety net of ABS.
The non-ABS equipped Bajaj Pulsar 180F, too, has started reaching dealerships. The Pulsar 180F ABS will go on sale before April 2019, which is when the new safety norms come into effect.

Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto is preparing to introduce the 2019 Dominar 400 in the Indian market. The bookings for the updated motorcycle have already commenced, for a token amount of INR 5,000. The updated Dominar 400 would reportedly pack a DOHC motor that would be BS-VI compliant and deliver higher performance numbers than the outgoing model. The BS-IV compliant Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled SOHC engine that produces 35 PS of power and 35 Nm of peak torque.
