The 2019 Lexus RC made its public debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show 2018 last month. The MY2019 update has brought a facelift to the luxury coupe.

Up front, the headlights have been updated and feature new LED daytime running lights. Moreover, the signature spindle grille carries a revised mesh pattern. The company says that the revised air ducts at the car's rear not only enhance the styling but also improve the high-speed stability. The diffuser is new, too, while the tail lights look bolder than before.
On the inside, the Lexus RC sports an updated centre stash that has a “Hairline” treatment for the A/C and radio panels now. There are as many as 7 interior colour themes and 11 body colour options. The revised interior also benefits from ample usage of brushed metal trim on the aircon and audio control panels. Furthermore, the dashboard has received an analogue clock from the Lexus LC. The infotainment unit is now compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple CarPlay.
The base RWD variant of the 2019 Lexus RC 300 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor that outputs 241 hp. For the facelift, it features a new ECU to "optimise shift schedule, throttle and turbocharger response." The AWD version of the RC 300 is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine that outputs 260 hp. The RC 350 is propelled by the same V6 motor but with a boosted output of 311 hp.
The RC 300 RWD is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor that outputs 241 hp. Lexus has updated the ECU to "optimise shift schedule, throttle and turbocharger response." The RC 300 AWD uses a 260 hp 3.5-litre V6 engine, while the RC 350 RWD and RC 350 AWD sport a 3111 hp version of the same six-cylinder mill.

The 2019 Lexus RC range benefits from a recalibrated electronic power steering and revised spring rates and shock absorbers as well. In the USA, the new model has been priced from $41,145.
