Update: A new video uploaded on YouTube channel Insideout India shows the new Ford Figo in the new 'Titanium Blu' grade.

11 March 2019 -

A new walkaround video from YouTube channel Aayush ssm fully reveals the exterior and interior of the Indian-spec 2019 Ford Figo. The facelifted model has started reaching dealerships and its launch is scheduled to take place on the 15th of this month.

The 2019 Ford Figo features the same new front-end as the 2019 Ford Aspire. It has a new radiator grille, called ‘3D cellular grille’ in the sedan version. The mesh grille is slightly more proportionate and its design gives a more premium look to the face. The headlamps too have undergone a few tweaks, but they’re still halogen units. Other changes include inverted lower air intake, revised bumper and C-shaped chrome applique.

On the sides, there are new 14-inch alloy wheels. The car seen in the video is in the Titanium grade, but the Titanium+ grade features 15-inch alloy wheels in black colour. At the rear, there’s a revised bumper with a C-shaped moulding at each corner. The license plate indentation is no longer colour coordinated.

With the mid-cycle refresh, the second-gen Ford Figo has gained push-button start and the 6.5-inch SYNC 3 touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The revised centre console design makes the interior look less cluttered.

Safety enhancements may include ABS with EBD and driver SBR becoming standard and the addition of speed alert system (standard), front passenger SBR (standard) and side and curtain airbags.
