The Mahindra Marazzo MPV will be launched on September 3. Select dealerships are advertising the commencement of "bookings of test drives" on social media, to accumulate leads and give customers an experience as soon as the demo vehicles are registered.
Powering the Mahindra Marazzo will be a new 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine that is reported to output a maximum power of 121 hp along with a peak torque of 300 Nm. At the time of the launch, the engine will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Marazzo is the first jointly developed product by Mahindra North American Technical Centre (MNATC) in Troy, USA, and Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai, India. The aesthetics of the new MPV are the work of Pininfarina and Mahindra's design centre in Kandivali, Mumbai. The design of the MPV takes inspiration from a shark.
The Mahindra Marazzo's body structure complies with the upcoming safety norms. All the trims will offer ABS, EBD, dual front airbags, and rear parking sensors as standard safety features. The higher trims will feature diamond-cut alloy wheels, cruise control, LED DRLs, projector headlights, touchscreen infotainment system, surround AC, and reverse camera.
