The 2019 Suzuki Vitara has most exterior changes at the front with the vertical grille and foglamp decor.

The Suzuki Vitara has received subtle cosmetic enhancements and a new engine with its mid-cycle update. Most changes are seen at the front. There’s a new radiator grille has six vertical bars and a neat chrome stripe at the top. The bumper has a more angular design, and a new decor element flowing out from the LED DRLs. The lower air intake is also new, and it has a cut-out for a millimetre-wave radar in the centre.

We are yet to get a complete look at the 2019 Suzuki Vitara’s rear-end, but from the image Suzuki has released, it is evident that the tail lamps include new LED technology.

The interior of the new Suzuki Vitara is not expected to vastly differ from that of the old model. Suzuki has revealed that the updated model has a revised instrument panel with new trim and a colour MID. The upper instrument panel has incorporated a soft touch material. There’s a pool of new safety technologies introduced with the MY2019 update, including Dual Sensor Brake Support, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, Traffic Sign Recognition, Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Moving to the engine line-up, the M16A 1.6-litre petrol naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol unit has parted ways with the Suzuki Vitara (in the UK). New for MY2019, is the 111 PS K10C 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine shared with the Suzuki S-Cross (Maruti S-Cross). This same engine propels the Maruti Baleno RS.
