Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India is working on an updated version of the Honda Navi. The updated Navi will launch in India in August 2018, according to a report from Autocar India.
HMSI launched the Navi over two years ago in India at the Auto Expo 2016. The Navi was successful in creating a following quickly with its quirky looks, light-weight, and practicality. However, the Navi never set the sales charts on fire, and sales fell after the initial spurt with ridiculous discounts offered for the BS3 stock in March 2017. In March 2018, the Navi accounted for zero sales.
According to the report, the refreshed Honda Navi will get new features and cosmetic updates. The scooter will get a new semi-digital instrument cluster, new colour schemes, and exciting new graphics. The report further claims that Honda will offer a range of practical accessories, new luggage support add-ons, and even styling as well as illumination elements.
With all the new updates, Honda is likely to increase the prices of the updated Navi in India marginally. The current model is available at the cost of INR 42,784 (ex-showroom, Delhi) along with an instant cashback offer of INR 5000 subject to availability and under specific terms and conditions.
The Honda Navi sources power from a 109.19 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, BSIV compliant engine. This engine develops 7.83 bhp of maximum power at 7,000 rpm while developing a peak torque of 8.96 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The engine feeds power to the rear wheel via a V-Matic automatic transmission. The scooter reaches a top speed of 81 kph.
Dimensionally, the Honda Navi is 1805 mm in length, 748 mm in width and 1039 mm in height. The scooter gets wheelbase of 1286 mm and ground clearance of 156 mm. The Navi receives a very accessible seat height of 765 mm along with a Kerb weight of 101 kg. The fuel tank capacity stands at 3.8-litres. Telescopic forks up front and a spring loaded hydraulic rear mono-shock suspend the under-bone type chassis.

The Navi is available with a total of six colour schemes and four customization options. The scooter also gets a dedicated Navi App for Android Smartphones.
