The new Maruti Swift is priced INR 4.99 lakhs onwards (ex-showroom Delhi).

Sales of the new Maruti Swift stood at 22,776 units in April while the Alto managed 21,233 units. Interestingly, though, despite posting such a high number, the Swift was unable to match its April 2017 tally of 23,802 units.

Overall, it was the Maruti Dzire that claimed top honours in April registering total sales of 25,935 units. It was the highest selling car in India from December 2017 to February 2018 before losing out to the Alto in March. MSIL outclasses competitors with seven models in the top ten list and a market share of 55.5% with total sales of 1,63,434 units.
