The 2018 Datsun GO and 2018 Datsun GO+ were launched in Indonesia yesterday. Here are the facelifted models’ images from the media launch, courtesy Autonetmagz.
The Datsun GO and Datsun GO+ have received a number of visual changes with their mid-cycle refresh. On the outside, the new models have sportier bumpers, with the front one featuring vertically stacked LED DRLs, a wider and more upright hexagonal grille flanked by tweaked headlamps and new, 14-inch five-double-spoke alloy wheels. Datsun has added an external lock system and even a washer and wiper at the rear.
The 2018 Datsun GO and 2018 Datsun GO+ have a number of interior changes as well. Datsun has redesigned the entire dashboard and instrument panel for a new look and optimised the backrest of the front seats for improved comfort. Rectangular air vents have replaced the circular air vents in the centre, while there’s a 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system in place of the standard audio system.
As before, the Datsun GO and Datsun GO+ are powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. Both still have a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, but in the Datsun GO, a CVT option is available now. The 1.2L petrol engine produces 68 PS and 104 Nm of torque in the new Datsun GO MT and new Datsun GO+ (MT). In the Datsun GO CVT, it is tuned to deliver 78 PS and 104 Nm of torque. Datsun has made some changes to GO and GO+' chassis to make the drive more enjoyable.
