The Tata Nexon XZ will slot below the Tata Nexon XZ+.

The range-topping XZ+ grade’s name itself was an indication that at some point Tata Motors might introduce an XZ grade positioned below it. According to the report, that is indeed the plan. The XZ grade will not feature DRLs, front fog lamps, rear fog lamps, alloy wheels, rear defogger, front armrest, rear armrest and smart key with push-button start. Unlike the XZ+ grade, the company won’t offer the XZ grade in a dual-tone colour scheme.

The Tata Nexon XZ will get other key features of the Tata Nexon XZ+ like projector headlamps, 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, driver seat height adjustment, and height adjustable front seatbelts. Like in any other grade, buyers will get two engine options in the XZ grade: 1.2 L Revotron petrol and 1.5 L Revotorq diesel, along with a standard 6-speed manual transmission.
