Toyota Kirloskar Motor has not one but at-least three mass-market product launches lined-up. In addition to the first-ever (for India) Toyota Yaris sedan, the company will launch new Toyota Platinum Etios and new Toyota Etios Liva, as per a report from The Economic Times.
The Toyota Etios was launched in India in December 2010 and the Toyota Etios Liva followed in June 2011. Both cars have already received facelifts twice, the first in October 2014 and the second in September 2016. Now, the company plans to extend their life further with a third facelift.
In an interview with the business publication, Shekar Viswanathan, Vice Chairman & Whole-time Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said: “With the improved product and hopefully creative market penetration, we will bring a newer version of the Etios series.” “As far as the Etios and the Liva are concerned, I think the normal facelift and minor model changes will keep on happening,” he added.
