The 2018 Toyota Yaris TRD Sportivo’s brochure has leaked online, courtesy AutonetMagz. The Indonesian market will get the facelifted model first.
The 2018 Toyota Yaris TRD Sportivo looks notably more aggressive, thanks to the Toyota Corolla-inspired design changes brought in by the facelift. Its exterior is differentiated with features like TRD red ring accent in the projector headlamps, LED DRLs, unique bumpers, underbody spoilers, black mirror casings, TRD rear roof spoiler and TRD red line accents all around. The 16-inch alloy wheels are shared with the 2018 Toyota Yaris G.
Interior highlights of the Toyota Yaris TRD Sportivo include black colour scheme with contrasting red stitching, leather steering wheel, Optitron meters with TFT MID, 7-inch central display, engine start-stop button, automatic climate control, six speakers and customised door lock sound. 7 airbags, VSC, HSA and ABS with EBD and BA are standard in the new Toyota Yaris range.
The 2018 Toyota Yaris TRD Sportivo should continue with the old model’s 1.5-litre Dual-VVT-i petrol engine that produces 107 PS and 140 Nm of torque. While the brochure already confirms availability of CVT with paddle shifters and Sport and Eco drive modes, we expect Toyota to offer a 5-speed manual transmission as well.
