Honda will showcase the second generation Amaze at the 2018 Auto Expo. The compact sedan will be one of the debutants at the event starting February 7, 2018, onwards. While the current Honda Amaze arrived after the Honda Brio, the next-gen Honda Amaze will precede the next-gen Honda Brio as demand for the sedan is much higher.
Proportions will remain largely similar to the current model’s keeping in mind the small car restrictions. Inside, Honda is expected to improve the quality of materials and the overall design for a more appealing cabin. Honda's 7-inch Digipad touchscreen infotainment system is likely to find a place in the cabin. The recently launched Amaze Pride Edition features the infotainment system. According to a report, Honda will be aiming for a more upmarket feel for the new Amaze. The new car will grow wider and, as a result, cabin space will go up.

A revised version of the current model’s platform is likely to underpin the 2018 Honda Amaze. The 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that puts out 88 PS/109 Nm version with a 5-speed manual transmission and 90 PS/110 Nm with a continuously variable transmission should continue post the lifecycle makeover. The 1.5 L i-DTEC diesel is also expected to be carried over unchanged.
