Kia has announced that it will unveil the Kia SP Concept at Auto Expo 2018 on 7 February, 2018. Along with the announcement, the company has released first teasers of the new SUV, and we have enhanced them to reveal more of the design.
The Kia SP Concept is our first look at Kia’s future B-SUV developed for India. The Hyundai Creta slayer perfectly blends the strong proportions of an SUV with a sporty design of an urban car. At the front, the Kia SP Concept features notably slim headlamps stretching back all the way to nearly the middle of the front fenders and an upper grille connected to them at the top. Right below the headlamps, it looks like there are large air scoops.
On the sides, the Kia SP Concept has muscular fenders, shiny wheels in a flower petal-like design, sleek mirrors and greenhouse, a rising chrome beltline, flush door handles and a sharp edge on the shoulders. At the rear, the slim wraparound tail lamps are connected to the sharp edge on the shoulders and interconnected by a thin chrome strip on the tailgate. A little of the rear skid plate is also visible in the teaser. The roofline tapers down swiftly towards the rear. The roof and rear spoiler both are painted in a contrasting colour, and so are the roof rails, but probably with a stroke of orange in the lower portion.
