AP Honda, the authorised distributor of Honda motorcycles in Thailand has launched the all-new Honda Super Cub in the country.
The new Honda Super Cub is available now at Honda Wing Center, nationwide with a suggested price of THB 47,100. The Super Cub comes in six colour variants. The USP of the Super Cub is its retro-modern design. It features a circular LED headlight and retro indicators. The two-tone seats are of split type, and the instrument cluster is an analogue unit with gear position indicator.
Powering the new Honda Super Cub is a 109.17 cc single cylinder SOHC engine with air cooling and fuel injection. The mill pairs with a 4-speed transmission. It generates 8 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 8.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is compatible with unleaded gasoline; or gasohol; 95 or 91 octane fuels with an ethyl alcohol content of not more than 20%.
Coming to the suspension bits, the Super Cub features telescopic front fork, and twin rear shock absorbers. Drum brakes on both ends handle the braking responsibility. The 17-inch spoke wheels are shod with 70-section rubber at the front and 80-section unit at the rear. The fuel tank can hold 4.2 litres of juice, and the claimed efficiency stands at 60.1 km/l.
