As the global rollout of the facelifted Ford EcoSport continues, India is next in the queue. Autocar India Editor Hormazd Sorabjee claims that the Ford India will launch the 2018 Ford EcoSport in the first half of November this year.
The Ford EcoSport will receive a proper facelift for MY2018. The mid-cycle refresh will bring a new front-end with a hexagonal upper grille, larger headlamps, new lower grille, restyled bumper and triangular fog lamps. There’s also a new Titanium S variant this time around, featuring smoked headlamps, black front fog lamp bezels, black rear spoiler, sporty alloy wheels and more.
Ford has borrowed elements from its other global models such as the Ford Fiesta and Ford Escape to build the interior of the 2018 Ford EcoSport. The steering wheel, instrument cluster and centre console are all-new. The dashboard has a grab bar on the passenger side. There’s an 8-inch floating central display for the new Ford SYNC 3 infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
