Bulleteer Customs, a motorcycle custom shop from Bengaluru has created a custom Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 called the Blue Raider 540.

The lock is at the steering head, instead of the handlebar clamp.

This Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 mod job is reminiscent of the custom house’s previous project, the Iron Maiden. They have draped the motorcycle in a metallic blue finish. The front fender looks like it has been borrowed from a Royal Enfield Classic. The LED headlamp is an aftermarket unit, and so is the single pod instrument cluster. Another unique feature is the handlebar-end indicators. The wide handlebars get chrome rear view mirrors, which adds contrast to the dark theme of the motorcycle.

The ribbed seat is wide and low, and they have retained the Thunderbird’s stock grab rail with backrest. The custom house has wrapped the stock 500cc engine’s exhaust header with a thermal wrap, which ends with a dual matte black exhaust system with chrome tips. The single cylinder engine makes 27.2 bhp at 5,250 rpm, and 41.3 Nm at 4,000 rpm. A 5-speed transmission does duty on the motorcycle.

The rear gas-charged shock absorbers is stock, and the motorcycle comes with alloy wheels instead of spoke units. The wheels are shod with meatier rubber to match the motorcycle’s design. Brakes are stock, with 280 mm front and a 240 mm rear disc.
