The Jeep Compass Trailhawk is on display at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show. Trailhawk is one of the four grades available for the second-gen Jeep Compass.
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk, as its name suggests, is made for off-road adventures. It boasts more off-roading capabilities over any other Jeep Compass. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk is 4,398 mm long, 2,033 mm wide and 1,529 mm tall. It offers a high ground clearance of 216 mm, and has approach and departure angles of 30.0 degrees and 33.6 degrees respectively. The compact SUV offers a maximum water fording height of 482.6 mm.
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk is characterised with some special exterior features over the standard model. It has a unique front and rear fascia, black hood decal, skid plate protection, signature Ruby Red tow hooks (front & rear), Dark Grey accents and red Trailhawk and Trail Rated badges. The Trailhawk model features Neutral Gray mirrors, fog lamp bezels, roof rails and badging as well.
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk employs the same 2.4-litre Tigershark petrol engine as the regular model. This engine produces 180 hp at 6,250 rpm and 237.3 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. 9-speed automatic transmission and Jeep Active Drive Low 4x4 system with 20:1 crawl ratio are standard. The latter, available only in the Trailhawk model, includes Jeep Selec-Terrain system with exclusive Rock mode. The fuel economy rating is 12.6 km/l.
