The Mahindra KUV100 NXT has started reaching dealerships. The Mahindra KUV100 NXT’s market launch will take place on 10 October.
The Mahindra KUV100 NXT gets new styling, some mechanical upgrades and new equipment. The KUV100 NXT features more aggressive bumpers, more imposing upper grille chrome inserts, new headlamp graphics, reshaped air dam grille and door side cladding, new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, clear lens tail lamps and new rear spoiler.
Mahindra has even gone so far to incorporate sheet metal changes in the doors and tailgate for a more athletic look. Inside, the Mahindra KUV100 NXT has black upholstery, new MID, redesigned centre console, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and new AC controls with just one rotary knob instead of three.
The infotainment system includes GPS navigation with maps from MapMyIndia. Mahindra will lower the 5-seat version’s priority, offering it only on a built-to-order basis.
The Mahindra KUV100 NXT reportedly has upgraded versions of the G80 1.2-litre petrol and D75 1.2-litre diesel engines that offer enhanced fuel economy. The facelifted model has strengthened engine mounts for reduced engine noise and vibrations, reworked air-filter design and longer suspension travel (front: 150 mm, rear: 200 mm). The latter should improve the ride quality. KUV100 NXT customers will appreciate the improved (20 degrees) approach angle and (29 degrees) departure angle and additional ground clearance.
