As part of the facelift, the S-Cross received significant design changes to the front end. The nose is a bit more upright than before and features a broader chrome grille with vertical chrome slats. Reprofiled headlamps get LED lighting and a new LED signature. Changes to the rear end are limited to new LED tail lamp graphics. The show car features 17-inch alloys.

The Suzuki S-Cross' centre console houses a 7-inch SmartPlay touchscreen AVN with Apple CarPlay and Mirror Link functionalities. The dashboard layout is identical to the pre-facelift model. The Suzuki S-Cross gets Radar Brake Support, which encompasses safety and collision prevention systems including automatic light brakes, brake assist, and automatic braking.

The crossover features three engine options: a 1.0 L K10C Boosterjet petrol, 1.4 L K14C Boosterjet petrol and 1.6 L DDiS diesel. The 1.0 L and 1.4 L petrol engines have maximum power outputs of 82 kW and 103 kW respectively. The Fiat sourced 1.6 L diesel produces 88 kW and 320 Nm. Transmission options include 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic options for the 1.0 L petrol, 6-speed manual and automatic for the 1.4 L petrol, and 6-speed manual and 6-speed TCSS (Twin Clutch System by Suzuki) for the 1.6 L diesel.
