BMW Individual is celebrating the world premiere of the BMW Individual M760Li inspired by Nautor's Swan at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA 2017). Here are the special edition BMW 7 Series' live images from the motor show floor.
BMW has created the BMW M760Li inspired by Nautor's Swan in cooperation with the Finnish luxury sailing yacht maker Nautor's Swan. The special 7 Series celebrates the 25th anniversary of BMW Individual. Its exterior is finished in the special BMW Individual colour damask red colour and has subtle model-specific details. For instance, the brake calipers matching the body colour bear the Swan logo, the boot lid is adorned with the Nautor’s Swan arrow, and there's a neat coachline on the side.
It is on the inside where Nautor's Swan's influence starts to show. Like a luxury yacht, the cabin of the Nautor's Swan 7er exudes sheer opulence. There's a lot more to notice than just the two-tone fine-grain Merino leather interior in smoke white and Criollo brown. Nautor's Swan has produced the interior trims, entry sills and floor mats, that too with teak. The yacht maker's signet is stitched into the headrests and cushions.
The sun visors and interior trims on the driver’s side and the central console are made of European oak, and they also carry this signature. The passenger-side dashboard bear 'Swan' branding to emphasise the car's relation to the brand.
The boot, fitted out in Alcantara Smoke White, has a carbon-bonded wooden component on the floor. BMW goes even further to make the vehicle manual inside the headquarters of BMW Individual Manufaktur in Garching. Going with the interior scheme, the manual is bound in Criollo brown Merino leather.
The BMW 7 Series inspired by Nautor's Swan's is based on the BMW M760Li xDrive V12 Excellence model. Under the hood of the graceful full-size luxury saloon lies a high-performance M Performance TwinPower Turbo engine. This 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 mill dishes out 610 hp and 800 Nm of torque. The 8-speed Steptronic transmission works with the xDrive AWD system. A 0-100 km/h sprint takes only 3.7 seconds.
BMW is yet to announce the BMW 7 Series inspired by Nautor's Swan's pricing.
