Dacia showcased the 2018 Dacia Duster (2018 Renault Duster) at Renault Day 2017 held in Mioveni, Romania. Here, it was revealed that the all-new Duster has three different multimedia/infotainment systems.
Radio 2 DIN is the most basic entertainment system of the 2018 Dacia Duster. It features a CD player and a monochrome display and offers USB and auxiliary inputs, as well as Bluetooth connectivity. It is connected to two speakers.
The mid-range Duster will have the Media Nav infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and feature steering wheel-mounted controls. The top-of-the-line unit is called Media Nav Evolution, which adds navigation and shows the output from a multi-view camera system - a first for a Dacia. A third infotainment system with capacitive buttons will join the range next year.
The 2018 Dacia Duster will sell in four engine models: SCe 115 petrol, TCe 125 petrol, dCi 90 diesel and dCi 110 diesel. The SCe 115 petrol, TCe 125 petrol and dCi 110 diesel engine models will have a four-wheel drive option. Dacia will offer an LPG version of the SCe 115 engine model. The company has not revealed detailed specifications but has confirmed the availability of the EDC automatic transmission as an option to the 6-speed manual. Both versions were on display at IAA.
